Civil Service Agency Launches Employees Status Regularization Project
The Civil Service Agency (CSA) has launched the Employees Status Regularization Project across Government Ministries and Agencies.
Speaking on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Ministry of Information Culture Affairs and Tourism(MICAT) press briefing in Monrovia, CSA Director General, Josiah Joekai, said the Agency is concluding national head counts for civil servants as initial step towards holistic Government’s Payroll Audit regime.
Director Joekai pointed out that the move aims to track potential ghost names and non-active Government employees who are still receiving salaries.
Meanwhile, the CSA Boss also announced that several unidentified individuals’ names have been blocked, following the completion of head counts at the Ministries of State and Foreign Affairs and the Civil Service Agency.
