AMEU Graduates urged to remain focused, Know Value

The commencement speaker of the 2023 graduation, Dr. Carma Chinyere Love, has admonished graduates of the faith-based African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) to remain focused and know their value, and continue to invest in their education.

“Know your own value without the extra hair and nails and clothes because you are priceless. You need to reflect yourself about what you learned that you are graduating and also keep roving. Willingly choose wisely because you will have to live with the results. Enrich your life’s journey even Jesus asked for help and you will never be too old to ask for assistance when needed,” she said.

She urged the graduates to always behave like they know their divine destiny is unfolding for their highest good and creates their success by having their life’s action plan and take conscious step.

“Dream delayed does not mean deny, and therefore you should not waste your time being disappointed. Improve the area in your life where you know your best is waiting for you. Don’t never sit around waiting for miracle but be busy going around every door and everywhere,” Love said.

Dr. Love called on the graduates to repeat the steps of those who are successful and also stand on the shoulders because it is something everyone does because without it she would not be addressing them and others are waiting to stand on their shoulders based on their action.

“Now is the only guarantee time you have in your life because the past is gone and the future is the pigment of imagination. Never misuse time because it can be your best friend or worst enemy. If you respect your time, others will respect your time and know that you are worth their time,” she said.

He said this makes AME University the first university in Liberia to have such services for their students, stating “the Dean of Library Services has begun to roll out series of training sessions for both students and faculty.
