MIND Dismisses Allegations Against MCSS Superintendent
The Movement With Integrity For National Development (MIND) has dismissed allegations made by one of the Board Members Musa Fofee Fofana of the Monrovia Consolidated Schools System (MCSS) that the institution is in crisis, has no stability, and functionality issues and the Superintendent awarding contracts for producing books and awarding eighty six thousand United States Dollars to Vendors for the renovation of MCSS Head Office with without the Board Members approval and passing through the Public Procurement Concessions Commissions(PPCC).
MIND Survey, as a civil society group for the past months of allegations made by some individuals against the MCSS Superintendent James A. S. Momoh, been falsehood, misleading, have the propensity to tarnish the good repetition of an individuals who have established himself as a public figure over the years with good records from different institutions of worked.
MIND described these counts stipulated on documents by Musa Fofana and others as a witch- hunt against the Superintendent who was vetted with good records and given preferment by President Joseph Nyumah Boakai to serve the people of Liberia as a Superintendent of the Monrovia Consolidated Schools System
MIND investigation on these allegations against the Superintendent of MCSS is unfair, falsehood, misleading, meant to spoil the good image of individuals who came to the MCSS with good working records and vast experience to strengthen the institution in transforming the MCSS and improving the education standard.
MIND, as a civil society group, understands that another individual behind the fight against the MCSS Superintendent is Emmanuel Robertson who was wrongly appointed by someone from the office of the President on Emansion without the approval of the President, but refused to know that his appointment is squarely last in the hand of the Superintendent accord to the acts that established the institution( MCSS) and not the Executive Mansion.
‘‘We, as a civil society group, challenged Emmanuel Robertson to bring to the public his letter of appointment by the President.
MIND, as a civil Society group, appreciates the Superintendent for the outstanding performance since been preferred by President Boakai in organizing employees of the institution in a professional manner and by sponsoring eighteen persons to India, three students and fifteen teachers for undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs.
‘‘We commend the Superintendent for the outstanding performance at the MCSS in bringing sanity to the institution.’’
MIND recommends to the President to remove Musa Fofee Fofana from the MCSS Board and reshuffle the Board Members that will work in the interest of the institution.
MIND recommendations to the Superintendent of the Monrovia Consolidated Schools System is to remain focused in the discharge of the duties that will bring proudness to the President, and the MCSS
