Speaking at a town hall meeting during President George Manneh Weah county tour in Western Liberia recently, the Gbarpolu County Supt. stressed that it is important and timely for the Education Ministry to intervene into the matter urgently. Outlining other challenges facing the county, he named the training of specialized doctors to help manage the ongoing 100-bed hospital project, the construction of a teacher and nursing quarters as well as the construction of a joint security barracks, the provision of mobility and many others as some of the challenges they are confronted with.
He named the others as bad roads, electricity, women and youth empowerment, vocational and skills training education and among others. According to him, the City of Bopolu is now growing in population since the commencement of the hospital project as such it is key to now help address several key issues affecting the people and the county in general. However, Supt. Saah commended President Weah and his government for some meaningful strides made thus far in helping to develop the county and country in general, but indicated further that more still need to be done for the betterment of the society.
