As a means of demonstrating her love and care for young girls in Bomi County and Liberia in general, Madam Weah assisted by her husband (President George Manneh Weah) hand delivered one customized package bag each to scores of school going girls in the county The bag colored white beautifully design with her photo and inscription: “She’s You Movement” contains toothpaste, deodorant, bathing soap and girls/ women monthly sanitary pad, among others. As the beneficiaries thanked the First Lady for the gesture, she used the occasion to demonstrate as well as educate the young girls under the ages of twelve in Bomi County on how to wisely and properly make use of the sanitary pad.
Madam Weah, using her past story as a kid growing up in Jamaica without a father, further motivated the young girls not to give up in life. She cautioned them to be disciplined, focused and to see education as a pivotal tool to unlock any hidden potential. She reassured the young girls of Bomi and Liberia in general of her love, commitment and passion to work hard in their interests in order to help transform their lives. She reassured the school going kids of her continued support to them in order to help make them better future leaders for tomorrow.
At the same time, Madam Weah also displaying her humanitarian values to citizens of Bomi County promised to give one vehicle to a very strong and outstanding midwife who in the county moves from one end to the order on motorbike only to ably and professional render midwifery services to scores of pregnant women in Bomi County and beyond.
