Senator Wesseh extols the People of River Gee, describes them as great people

Senator Conmany B. Wesseh has extolled the people of River Gee County, describing them as great people.

Senator Wesseh said the concession reached to make Senator Jonathan Boycharles Sogbie Chairman of the River Gee Legislative Caucus is not a mistake, because since he became Senator things are working well between him and Senator Sogbie and his kinsmen in the Lower House.

Senator Wesseh, a prominent Liberian politician and former activist, then expressed the hope that no matter what happens in the past, River Gee will remain united.
He thanked his colleagues for the appointment, saying that Senator Sogbie will help to bring together all the People of River Gee County and at the same time serve as a recollection chief for the county to help reduce the unnecessary tension and misinformation and as well as the tribal tension in the county.

Also speaking at the colorful program, Senator Sogbie thanked his colleagues and vowed to do his best to work collaborately with them to make the caucus more effective in the supreme interest of the county.

Senator Numene Bartekwa of Grand Kru County, who also spoke the colorful program, praised the People of River Gee People for electing Senators Wesseh and Sogbie, because, according to him, he has seen their work at the Liberian Senate as helpful to the plenary, the highest decision making body of that August Body.

He spoke as an installing officer for the River Gee Legislative Caucus.

Also speaking separately, Senators Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence and Darius Dillon said they are impressed with the current working spirit of River Gee Lawmakers and called on the people of the county to be united despite their political affiliation.

Accordingly, the caucus leadership structure is Senator Jonathan Boycharles Sogbie, Chairman, Rep. Francis S. Dopoh, Vice Chairman, Rep. Alex Pour Secretary, Rep Francis Young Chaplain and Senator Conmany B. Wesseh, Adviser respectfully.

Meanwhile, the induction ceremony was attended by Senators Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence of Grand Bassa and Abraham Darius Dillon, Hon. Numene Bartekwa of Grand Kru County, River Gee elders, council of elders, youth, women and the religious community, and well- wishers.

The colorful ceremony was held in the office of Senator Conmany B. Wesseh, adviser to the caucus.
