Presenting the degree to Jeety, CU Interim President, Romelle Horton, said Jeety for his humanitarian services holds several other awards and accomplishments within reason of imagination.
“His accolades and recognitions have earned him a place on several boards of corporations and institutions including the University of Liberia(UL), Booker T. Washington Institute (BWT), and Cuttington University(CU) where he currently sits,” she stated.
According to her, Jeety has made lasting impacts to several organizations with his immeasurable contributions.
The CU President pointed out that Jeety wears many hats and his presentations have taken him from Liberia, to South Africa, India and Canada.
“ His recognition in many quarters and disciplines of life indicate how versatile he is as a businessman and scholar who believes in paying it forward but holds a firm belief in the uplifiment of others, comity, and relationships,” the outspoken CU President averred, whie describing the honoree as a true friend of Liberia and the Liberian people and given all the foregoing accounts, he has proven to be a caring man with faith in others, goodwill, repute and accomplishments unblemished by wealth and worth.
“ Recognizing all of his numerous contributions to society at large, and the Liberian people in particular, the Cuttington University Board of
Trustees through Cuttington University is convinced and pleased and in a good place to honor Upjit Sachdeva with honorary degree (Honoris Causa),” the CU President uttered.
