President Weah, who made disclosure after meeting with EU Commissioner Jutta Urpilanen, said the money will benefit several development areas for the next four years.
The Liberian Leader named forestry, food systems, election process and vocational education as areas to benefit from the EU financial assistance.
It can be recalled that President Weah on February 16, 2022, departed the country to attend the sixth European Union-African Union Summit in Brussels, Belgium.
The Summit, which ran from February 17 – 18, 2022, brought together leaders of the European and African Unions as well as their respective member states.
Meanwhile, the summit , among other things, presented a unique opportunity for participating countries and organizations to lay the foundations for a renewed and deeper AU-EU partnership with the highest political involvement based on trust and a clear understanding of mutual interests.
