For Sustainable Dedication to Liberia’s Economic Development, Peace, CDC Extols Foreign Envoys Featured

Monrovia, Liberia: The Chairman of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Mulbah K. Morlu, on behalf of the Standard-Bearer of the CDC, H.E. George Manneh Weah, the Vice Standard-Bearer, H.E. Jewel Howard-Taylor and the National Executive Committee of the CDC, has formally sent a message of appreciation to the French, German, Irish, Swedish Ambassadors & the E.U. Head of Delegation for a productive meeting with them.

In the message of appreciation to each of them, Dr. Jakob Haselhuber, Ambassador, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Kate O’Donnell, Charge d’Affaires, Embassy of Ireland; Urban Sjostrom, Ambassador, Embassy of Sweden Laurent Delahousse, Ambassador, Head of Delegation, European Union and to His Excellency Michael Roux, Ambassador, Embassy of France, Mr. Morlu expressed sincere gratitude for extending a kind invitation to attend a scheduled meeting, which took place at the embassy premises in Mamba Point, Monrovia.

“The Coalition for Democratic Change gives special thanks to each of you for enabling a cordial atmosphere for honest and frank exchanges pertinent to our multilateral & strategic relations. Your excellences, the unique audience your invitation provided was profoundly exhilarating, especially for the valuable time you took out of your busy schedules to listen to our presentation on the impressive economic, human resource & infrastructural achievements of the CDC-led Government under His Excellency George Manneh Weah, President of Liberia,” Mr. Morlu stated in the message of appreciation, a copy of which was obtained by the Heritage.

“We are delighted to have shared opinions on the gains of the Weah-led government, whilst we welcome the important concerns you raised in other areas as we work to address those concerns and continue to seek the Socio-economic wellbeing of our people. Nevertheless, we cannot fail to highlight the efforts you have made to maintain, support and strengthen the relations between our countries,” the CDC Chairman pointed out. 

According to him, these relentless efforts of strategic multilateral friendships built around mutual interests, remain admirable and appreciated.
