TipMe hits Rural Liberia Featured

 

In order to make Liberia paperless, TipMe Liberia has officially opened her new office in Ganta City, Nimba County to better serve its valued customers along with partnership with Jungle Water Energy Power (JEP).

Speaking at the official opening of the new in office G anta City, Nimba County on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, Madam Laureine Guilao, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TipMe Liberia, described as laudable the integration with JEP who is supplying current in Bong and Nimba Counties.

Madam Guilao said TipMe is proudly being the first Epayment provider offering JEP token. She said JEP token provides residents in the rural areas affordable means to purchase electricity.

She bragged that gone are the days where customer s must travel long distance to access current, describing TipMe Liberia as Liberia’s first electronic service provider.

She furthered that TipMe is proudly Liberian owned and Liberia’s first app-based electronic payment service provider with a unique array of services ranging from money transfer, international remittance, bill payment services, and much more.

The TipMe CEO said TipMe brand is focused on developing and growing a cashless eco-system to avoid the consistent liquidity issues faced by businesses and individuals.

“TipMe customers can pay for goods and services at their favorite restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets without the need for physical cash; and can access a host of bill payment services through the platform including LEC, Airtime, and Libtelco, and Telecel. Businesses have access to TipMe’s payroll services and a digital ticketing platform for event management. Furthermore, Liberians living abroad can send money to their family and friends with TipMe wallets at affordable rates, “ the TipMe CEO stated.

 According to her, one can pay bill be it purchasing of airtime, LEC, LIBTECO and JEP.

“Businesses have access to TipMe roll services and a physical ticketing platform for event management.

Additionally, TipMe continues seeking ways to improve the digital financial opposition available to Liberia,” she pointed out

" We are happy to bring our services to the rural area. We are proud that we will be making electricity easy access for residents of Ganta as we continue to.lead the way in other for Liberia to beaches a cashless economy," she stressed.

Madam Guilao expressed thanks and appreciation to the JEP family for the warm welcome that they(TipMe) family received and hope to build a strong partnership in the region.

Moreover, she welcomed TipMe newest employees with a huge welcome.

At the same time, JEP Administrators- Bob Bob Marshall Dolo said the JEP feels so honored to receive TipMe partnership. He furthered that they believe that this partnership will go a long way.

"This is like a dream come through because he heard customers complaining about distance I other to get to JEP office for current purposes," he said.

Meanwhile, the Acting Chairperson of the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), Madam Edwina Zackpah congratulated TipMe and the Republic of Liberia for such improvement in the digital world. She said Liberia are finally catching up with the digital financial transformation with the rest of the world that are using 5G.

Madam Zackpah thanked TipMe for the step taken, adding that that right now the manual system is behind.

She encouraged everyone to start using technology to develop and bring out new idea and innovation in bringing services to the people of Liberia to enjoy. She encouraged all of the participants to generate incomes.
