Jeety provides Three Pipe Borne Water Facilities to the People of Margibi, identifies With Muslims
Years after some segment of people of Margibi struggled for safe drinking water, Jeety Rubber LLC has provided three pipe borne water facilities to the people of Margibi County.
Indian Businessman Upjit Singh Sacheva common known as Jeety said since his involvement with the people of Margibi where this rubber company is situated, he noticed that children and mothers had struggled to fetch safe drinking water.
“With that, I said to myself that I must do something in-other to lessen their burden. For the past months, I have installed three free drinking water facilities in different communities. I pray that God gives me more strength to cover the rest of the community,” Mr. Jeety said.
Mr. Jeety’s donation to provide free running water is a huge blessing to the people of Weala. Community dwellers now come from different areas to fetch safe drinking water.
Reacting to the donation, Romeo S. Johnson, who is the Commissioner of Cinta Town, said since Mr. Jeety entered the community things have begun to improve through his good work.
Commissioner Johnson furthered that the people of Weala had serious issues concerning water, noting that the provision of three water safe drinking water facilities has solve the people quest for water.
He vowed that these projects will not be abused but rather used for the good of the people.
Hawa Kemgo, head of the local women in Weala National Peace-hut Women, described the donation as timely and beneficial as they have struggled with water issues for years.
“We, as women, felt such because we normally do the house works up to 75% -80% and water is part of those duties,” Ma Hawa said.
She cautioned Mr. Jeety to encourage more investors to help boost the lives of Margibian through their humanitarian work.
She appreciated Jeety for his contribution and urged him to continue the water provision to the rest of the town.
At the same time, Kolubah Philips, a classroom teacher, said before there was risk involved in getting safe drinking water from the well.
According to him, children usually fell prey by falling in wells and getting sick as a result of the water they drank.
“When you visited the hospital, these children normally get diagnosed with diarrhea and typhoid because of the water they drank from the well was exposed,” Mr. Philips said.
Mr. Philips said with this pipe borne water children will not risk of getting sick. Also the donation is not only helping the community dwellers rather nearby Schools and Clinics.
Furthermore, it will reduce the sale of sack of water because they now have a safe drinking water. “We have happy and will appreciate him to extend the project in different communities.”
At the same time, Mr. Jeety has identified with Muslims from seven (7) different mosques with foods items along with LRD$10,000.00 in order to end the fast.
Mr. Jeety said those fasting are also praying for the country’s peace, stability and development and not only themselves.
Therefore, he chose to identify with them, adding: “We have come with all the faith to identify with your guys.”
Those leaders at the mosque appreciated Mr. Jeety for is kind gesture. ‘’Thanks to God for this donation. We will remember you in prayer and the country as a whole to be peaceful. We are happy for the gesture. The intention was wonderful not so much about the money but the heart that led this gesture,” they added.
