Education Ministry uncovers Re-Sitters Scam

The Ministry of Education has frowned at school administrators engaged in the registration of re-sitters along with regular students in the past school years.
Speaking on the program, “Conversation with the Ministry of Education” on Sunday, May 28, 2023, the Minister of Education, Ansu  Sonii warned school administrators engaged in the registration of individuals deemed as re-sitters to desist.
Minister Sonii pointed out that such practice is unacceptable because it has grossly created unnecessary financial liabilities for the Liberian Government”.
He made it clear that the Government of Liberia(GoL)has committed itself to underwrite the financial costs for regular students for each school year and not re-sitters.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education is pleased to inform all Education Stakeholders, Development Partners, and the Public about its upcoming radio program, named and styled "Education Forum." 

The program   hit the airways on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 5:00PM on MoE Radio 92.9 FM.

The “Education Forum” is intended to highlight major academic activities, achievements and ongoing projects being undertaken by the Ministry and partners.
