Seeking God's intervention, he prayed saying: “The strange deaths that continue to take place in our country ahead of the December 8, 2020 Election is a great embarrassment to our country. May God arrest killers of those innocent lives. Wherever those group of evil people are, destroy them Father. Rebuke them oh God,” Bishop Winker asserted. He pointed out that whoever that is planning to destabilize the peace of Liberia will not be successful, stressing: "Because we have our country, we will do everything not to destabilize the peace". The Dominion Christian Fellowship Center founder and overseer urged President Dr. George Manneh Weah to remain strong amid the high tensions in the country.
He said he is one person who will exert all efforts to ensure that the peace Liberians are enjoying will not be tampered with. "I seek peace across all border points of Liberia. I pray for wisdom for our three branches of government. The Executive, Legislature, and the Judiciary. I pray for our country, Liberia to prosper. We pray against evil plans and strange deaths,” he, among other things, added. Early this week, it was announced that the outcomes of the autopsies conducted on the remains of the four Liberians who died under suspicious circumstances are to be presented to the Justice Ministry (MoJ) this week.
The autopsies were conducted a little over two weeks ago by two internationally trained Liberian pathologists, Doctor Benedict B, Kollee and Doctor Benedict B. Kparteh on the remains of the Fallen Internal Audit Agency Director General Emmanuel B. Nyensua, Madam Gifty Lamah, Mr. George Fahnboto and Mr. Albert Peters of the Liberia Revenue Authority. The GOL said the delay in the compilation and release of the report is due to the toxicology' examination conducted overseas after some parts of the remains were sent abroad to undergo this pathological process.
Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie quotes Liberia's Attorney General, Cllr Frank Musa Dean as saying that the results of the autopsies are now in country and the pathologists and investigators are compiling their final reports to be presented to the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Justice who is leading the investigation. The GoL through President Weah had requested international participation- through the American Embassy in Monrovia in the conduct of the investigations as a means of demonstrating the GOL commitment to an open and transparent investigation in which they participated.
