Dolo, a former Senator of Nimba County, is contesting the ensuing Special Senatorial Election, which is slated for December 8, 2020, on an independent ticket. Regarded as one of the forerunners in the senatorial race in Nimba County, he again cautioned his people and the people of Liberia not to vote all sitting representatives contesting in the Special Senatorial Election on account that their participation in the election could lead to series of by-elections. According to him, the money for these imminent by-elections can go to the construction of hospitals, schools and other human driven projects. Speaking to thousands of his supporters and well-wishers in the populated City of Karnplay, former Senator Dolo also reminded his people of the sensitivity of the election and asked them to evaluate their lives and see if they are better off today than they were yesterday. At the same time, the former lawmaker admonished his people to be violent free in the pending electoral process and vote for their future and not for bag of rice, zinc, cement and money instead vote for integrity. It can be recalled that a fortnight ago, Senatorial Aspirant Dolo sounded similar caveat in Ganta City, Nimba County when he spoke to thousands of his supporters and well- wishers.
