The "Rollers" did so with deserved 2-1 win against Monrovia Club Breweries at the Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in Kakata, Margibi County, thanks to a brace from Ballack Somah. The win takes Barrolle to 5th place with five points from three matches having drawn their opening two matches. The "Kanyan Pepper" boys began their season opener with scoreless draw against Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) Oilers at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) before no settling to another goalless draw with National Port Authority (NPA) Anchors in Kakata. Though the "Rollers" scored blank in those opening fixtures, the performances were splendid against the "Oil Boys" and the "Port Boys."
Barrolle’s next game will also be at the Nancy B. Doe Sports Stadium in what is believed would be an entertaining encounter against Nimba County giant NimbaKwado Elsewhere in the Orange First Division League, LISCR were defeated 2-1 by Freeport FC at the ATS. Maliki Kromah scored for LISCR, while Jonathan Eke and Thomas Appiah scored for Freeport. At the Samuel Kanyan Doe Sports Complex (SKD) in Paynesville, outside Monrovia. Grand Cape Mount County based club Bea Mountain defeated Small Town by lone Mark Paye goal. It was an-all Nimba County affairs between NimbaKwado and Nimba United in Sanniquelle, with NimbaKwado winning 2-0. George Kerkulah and Nyan Dahn were the goal scorers.
Also at the Blue Field in Monrovia, a brace from Augustine Otu and a goal from Abraham Kouyateh gave Watanga a well-deserved 3-2 victory over Nimba FC. Franklin Mulbah scored all two for the Nimba County boys. And at the Technical Center in Careysburg, a brace from William Freeman was enough for LPRC Oilers to see off NPA Anchors.
