At a news conference on Friday, July 17, 2020, the LFA boss promised that the entire process will be transparent void of biases. He said that they did not create any button neck in the process rather only standard requirements are being followed.
As part of the process, an interview has been scheduled including a written practical test, basic computer literacy test among others. He made it clear that the computer literacy component is not intended to eliminate or target a particular group of people, but rather a best international and standard practice.
Upon the review and the completion of the entire process, the LFA boss said a formal pronouncement of successful candidates will be made public. The LFA president has instituted some new digital programs to various clubs across the country.
As part of said plan, the football house officially launched the domestic Transfer matching system. The system will, among other things, help in the digital and modem transfer and market of players from domestic club levels to the other.
He encouraged all clubs to make maximum use of the platform in order to take the game to another level.
Meanwhile, Raji announced that the LFA has put in place some mini criteria in order to meet up with club license development and many others. He added that Business Registration, Article of Incorporation, Medical Clearance and Headquarters of various clubs are among the mini criteria.
