I am surprised that others take account of the work we do. This motivates me and says a lot about being simply who you are and never change because of the position occupied.” He used the occasion to thank President Weah for allowing him to serve his country and as well give back to his people. He also thanked those patriotic Liberian that voted him during the voting period. “You guys (Liberians) are the real champion,” Damaro posted. Meanwhile, he cautioned his fellow compatriots to put their political differences aside and help the President move the country forward.
While acknowledging that the country’s economy is going through some difficulties, he pointed out that the Liberian leader is working tirelessly to ensure the nation’s economy bounces back. “I acknowledged the fact that Liberia is going through some turbulent time, however, I can assured that President Weah is working tirelessly around the clock to take the economy from its current status to a more suitable one for his people,” Damaro emphasized. He continued: “Despite our political differences, I urged all well-meaning Liberians to remain peaceful and put away their political difference aside for the forward march of our common patrimony, Liberia.” At the same time, Presidential Aide Damaro further stressed for all those in public and private position of high standings to look back and see where they can be of help to those in need. He encouraged his colleagues in high places in society to remain humble to their fellow compatriots and always return to the slums and the needy for alms.
