The Indian diplomat donated a huge quantity of hot meat( Jollof Rice), water and juice to the Deputy Superintendent for Administration, Joel J. G Juah, for the prisoners or inmates at the Central Prison. Making remarks before the distribution, Jeety said the purpose of the distribution is to identify with many prisoners who are serving their sentences at the facility, stating that it will be a continuous process. He pointed out that the gesture is in line with his promise to the management of the facility sometimes ago. He mentioned that the distribution is to give some nice meat to the inmates so they can be part of success.
The Indian envoy then thanked the management of the Monrovia Central Prison for giving him the opportunity to distribute food to the prisoners. Receiving the donation, the Deputy Superintendent for Administration, Joel J. G. Juah, commended Jeety for his kind- hearted gesture. uah, on the other hand, called on well-meaning Liberians and people and organizations of good will to emulate the good example of Jetty to come to the aid of prisoners at the Central Prison.
“To take care of these prisoners is not an easy thing and the government cannot do all,” he said. “I want to encourage people who have helping hands to follow businessman Jeety step in reaching out to the prisoners. I can promise that this gesture will be used for the actual purpose,” Juah added.
