The donation, which, among other things, included 200 bags of rice, 100 bags of beans and 100 big gallons of Argo oil, was provided by the church group as stimulus package to its members pastors amid the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
Speaking in an interview with the Heritage on the landmark food ration, some of the beneficiaries thanked the head of Promise of Life and all international support staff for the gesture.
One of the several pastors, who benefited from the donation, Pastor Lawrence Saysay, described the donation as a blessing to Liberia.
He disclosed that 100 pastors and their families were fed through the donation, which came at time of need when pastors across the country were resting home due to the global pandemic which has ravaged the world since November of last year.
"For us, we call it a blessing to Liberia because over 100 pastors and their [families] were fed. We are grateful to have a father like Pastor Pastor Craig Field, who God sends a vision through for Liberia. He felt the need during this global pandemic that his children back home get something to survive. So we are so grateful and we give God the praise for him to be thinking on us," he said.
"We pray that God will continue to bless him so that he will forward with his vision, especially in Liberia," he added.
Pastor Mickey Brown, another beneficiary, also lauded the Canadian based church group for looking back to them in time of need.
"My brother let me tell you, this donation came at a time when the situation was tensed. I must tell you, these donations have really blessed many homes," Pastor Brown indicated.
"Again, we, members of Promise of Life-Liberia, are so grateful to Promise of Life Church-Canada; to our spiritual father, Pastor Craig Field, our mother, Pastor Jennifer Field and the entire church in Canada and the leadership through which all of these were made possible, and Pastor Matthew P. Gowah and his wife Pastor Precious Gowah in Delaware, United States and their entire membership out there," the clergy, among other things, added.
