Rep. Sloh described as very troubling for the NEC, an institution responsible to conduct elections in the country, to be headed by a naturalized Nigerian- Liberian.

He pointed out that President Weah needs to see reason to reconsider and withdraw the appointment of Cllr. Nwabudike as Chair of the NEC.
He disclosed that there are some members of the House of representatives, who according to him, are planning a communication to be sent to members of the Senate to reject Cllr. Nwadubike during his confirmation.
Among other things, he warned that this issue about a nationalized Liberian to head the NEC should not be taken for a joke, asserting that there are many qualified Liberians that can head the NEC.
