Special Investigative Panel Constituted to Probe Embattled Land Case in Lofa

LOFA COUNTY, LIBERIA - Lofa County Superintendent, William Tamba Kamba, Sr., has constituted a SPECIAL INVESTIGATIVE PANEL to investigate the embattled land case between a popular businesswoman and some individuals under the banner, CONCERN CITIZENS and by extension the Voinjama Public School.

The committee is charged with the responsibility to conduct an indebt investigation of the land disputants over claims and counter claims of ownership of a parcel of  land situated in Voinjama City, to substantiate the legitimacy of claim by parties involved.

Members of the special investigative panel include the Liberia Land Authority as Chair, represented by the following:
1 . Mr. William L. Zayzay
    Dispute Resolution Officer
    Liberia Land Authority (LLA)
    Lofa County and

2. Mr. Kelemu B. Zubah
    Registrar 
    Liberia Land Authority (LLA)
    Lofa County

Meanwhile, Supt. Kamba has ordered the popular businessman to halt all construction activities as of July 17,2020 until the investigation is completed by the SPECIAL INVESTIGATIVE PANEL at which time findings and recommendations will be forwarded to the office of the Superintendent.

At the same time, he urged all parties involved that are claiming the said land, to cooperate with the investigative panel by providing all necessary documents or evidences as will be deemed necessary by the team of investigators to substantiate their claims.

He called on the investigators to report findings and recommendations within one week as of July 17,2020.
